About the event
This anatomy course is designed for yoga teachers and anyone else who wants to truly understand what is happening inside the body when we move, stretch, strengthen and rest. Instead of memorising muscles in isolation, we explore anatomy as a living, breathing system that supports real yoga practice on the mat.
Through clear, accessible teaching, you will learn how bones, joints, muscles, fascia and the nervous system work together to create stability, mobility and ease.
Using fascia as a lens, this course bridges modern anatomical science with the felt experience of yoga. You will learn how to recognise individual variation, understand why the same pose looks different in different bodies, and adapt movement safely for a wide range of students — including those with injuries, hypermobility or limited mobility.
Whether you are a yoga teacher wanting to refine your anatomy knowledge or a practitioner who simply wants to move with…
